Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) Awards

‘GYTI’ Awards celebrates the spirit of student innovation in all the fields of engineering, science, technology and design through extremely affordable/frugal solution or the ones pushing the technological edge. These could deal for example, with

  • Communities at grassroots,
  • Co-creation with grassroots innovators,
  • Manufacturable technologies for saving or generating energy, sanitation, water purification, saving material consumption,
  • Biotechnology and medical devices,
  • Diagnostics,
  • Assistive devices for physically challenged, and all others areas of social and industrial applications.
  • One can submit more than one application in hard-core manufacturing areas, including but not restricted to aerospace, transportation, construction, textile, electronics, Nano-technologies, computer science applications etc.

Attention: Last Date of Submission has been extended until November 30, 2017

Workshop on Partial Differential Equations and Applications- May 29 – June 11, 2017

Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) organize a NBHM sponsored “Workshop on Partial Differential Equations and Applications (WPDE 2017)during May 29-June 11, 2017.

The eligible young scholars/faculty are invited to participate in the workshop and to make it a successful event.

The last date for online registration – May 17, 2017.

 A total number of participants is limited to 40 including PG students, research scholars and young faculty. Selection will be based on merit. No TA/DA will be paid to participants for attending the workshop, accommodation and food will be provided at University premises during the workshop dates. Regarding Registration fees, kindly check the website. Priority will be given to young research scholars working in the area of differential equations.

The proposed workshop is intended for the benefit of Young Researchers/Lecturers of Mathematics from various Universities and Colleges in India.

The Academy of Sciences and the Department of Mathematics, Anna University , will jointly conduct a Summer Training Programme in Mathematics (STPIM-2017) for about three weeks (26th May – 15th June, 2017).

This course is meant for the first year M.Sc. Mathematics students (going to the second year in July 2017) who are interested in pursuing a research career.

The aim of this program is to teach the foundations in mathematics
